Building Hope is a comprehensive program designed to help children and families become successful by developing the spiritual and moral infrastructure as well as the necessary educational skills to overcome the economic and cultural hardships and hindrances of life.

A Compelling Mission

Building Hope Community Life Center provides a safe and loving environment where children come after school for highly structured, educational activities while still having fun.  We serve students who are suspended from school in our day program and middle school students in our Summer Significance Academy.

Effective Programs

Building Bridges - After School Program - M-F 2:00-6:00pm

Provides tutoring, life skills, and academic enrichment to over 50 students daily. 

Turning Hearts - Men of Standard 300 Initiative

Challenges young men to reject passivity, accept responsibility, and lead courageously.  Mentors, parent seminars, and vocational training connect the generations.

Summer Programs - Summer Significance Academy

Football camp, and field trips serve over 300 youth in pitt and Edgecombe Counties.

Standing in the Gap - Day Intervention Programs

Gives  students who are suspended from school supervision and life skills to get back in the game, Mon-Fri 8:00-2:00PM
